Great news! There is now LinkedIn Ads conversion tracking.

That helps us do a better job of understanding and managing our client’s LinkedIn ad campaigns based on performance metrics that really matter – sales and transactions.

What is frustrating with the current LinkedIn conversion tag is you can only track conversions based on URL. (Typically, each ad platform has many more conversion ‘events’ than simply a URL based conversion and we create these events using Google Tag Manager).

So, thanks to LinkedIn for this initial release of their conversion tracking functionality!

However, we would love it if we could define conversions for our clients based on some Document Object Model (DOM) event like a button or element click.

Hopefully, LinkedIn will be rolling out a feature update soon!
